FECG Dortmund

One church. Two languages. One Lord.

We are the Freie Evangeliums-Christen Gemeinde (FECG), an evangelical free church in Lünen-Brambauer, right on the Dortmund city boundary. Every guest is welcome – whether you drop by in person or watch the livestream.

Our main languages are German and Russian: services are mostly in Russian, and about once a month in German. If you need it, we translate, into English too.

Your first time with us?

Come as you are. We look forward to meeting you!
Do I need to sign up?

No. Just come along – you don't need to know anyone.

Is there anything for children?

Children aged 4 to 9 have Sunday school: before the sermon they go to their own group with their teachers. Younger children stay with their parents. Right next to the hall there's a children's room with a glass window. From there you can see the service and hear it through loudspeakers. You'll find baby changing tables in the children's room and in the women's toilet.

What language is the service in?

Mostly Russian, and about once a month German. If you need it, we translate, into English too.

How long does the service last?

Usually about an hour and a half to two hours.

Where can I park?

There's a car park right behind the church building with about 25 spaces.

What should I wear?

There's no dress code. Come as you are.

Do I have to give money?

No. We don't pass a collection plate, and as a guest you don't have to give anything.

How do I find you?

Our address: Königsheide 44, 44536 Lünen. The bus stop "Brambauer Gemeindehaus" is just a few steps away, and the U41 terminus "Brambauer Verkehrshof" is a few minutes' walk.

What brings us together

  1. Jesus Christ at the centre

He died for our sins and rose again. Everyone who turns to him and trusts him finds forgiveness and new life.

  2. The Bible as our foundation

God's Word is without error and our only standard for faith and life.

  3. Questions welcome

If you're curious or just want to listen, you're very welcome. We look for answers to your questions together in the Bible.
